The WebAnywhere TimeClock is a web based timeclock with very advanced features. We are currently in the process of upgrading the TimeClock to the next version, please check back again for updates to this page.
While you wait on the next version, below is a partial list of features. Also see the screenshots to the right!
Features (partial list only):
- Web Based - can be used by all of your company locations, as well as outside contractors, etc. - you can access it from anywhere!
- Server Controlled Time! Employee's cannot manipulate the clock by changing the time on their PC! The TimeClock receives the current time of the server everytime the clock is accessed, this time is used for all display purposes (and it is a real-time clock, which shows hours, minutes, and seconds - and changes every second). When a user clocks in or out, the actual time of the server is used - not any time from their browser or PC!
- Built-in IP filtering - restrict to certain IP ranges, or just block certain ranges from accessing.
- Multiple Locations with time offset - setup your different locations and their IP ranges, and the TimeClock will automatically adjust their time for the correct timezone. Example: it's 9:00am in the Eastern timezone, and Employee 1 clocks in - the real-time clock on all screens as well as reports show 9:00am. In the central timezone, Employee 2 clocks in - the time on all screens for this employee will show 8:00am.
- Account Lockout - accounts can be locked out for X minutes after X failed attempts.
- Forced Usage Policy - force users to agree to a usage policy before accessing the clock.
- Strict Punch Times - restrict users from clocking in more than X minutes early, or X minutes after their scheduled start times. Force them to see a supervisor. This works great for those employees who show up late!
- Scheduled Days Only - this option will only allow an employee to clock in on days they are scheduled to work.
- User Login Reports - allow employee's to see their timecard after clocking in.
- Announcements - post announcements to the main clock in/out screen, a place where every employee can see them!
- Email Alerts! Managers can receive alerts via email when an employee clocks in or out late, when they are about to enter overtime, when they have entered into overtime, and the day of their anniversary (employment anniversary).
- Multiple Schedules! The employee can have up to 3 schedules. This is useful for employees who work different shifts based on the day of the week.
- Custom Reports - if you have PHP and MySQL experience, you will be able to write custom reports for the TimeClock. We of course are always available to write custom reports (for a fee).
