History

Laymance Technologies LLC is a web design agency based in Knoxville, Tennessee and Nashville, Tennessee.  Laymance Technologies is named after its founder Rick Laymance, who started the firm in 2002 as a part-time venture. Our founder is the lead developer and technology expert who holds 10 industry certifications and has over 20 years of experience in the industry.

In addition to website design in Knoxville, we are also specialists in custom web development and application development.  We have completed projects ranging from custom content management systems, to custom web application systems using PHP and Laravel, to Android and iOS apps.  The Laymance team has also been lead developers on large website projects, including sites that receive over 45 million visitors per year.

Although we are primarily a Knoxville Web Design agency, we do have clients nationwide.  We have completed projects for clients from Oregon and Washington state, to Virginia and right here in Tennessee.  With today’s technological advancements, meeting face-to-face is not always necessary, so don’t let geographic location deter you from reaching out to work with us.
