LDS™ believes that strong electronic privacy is crucial for the ongoing success of the Internet as a service, commercial, and entertainment medium. We pledge that LDS™ will not release your personal data to anyone else without your consent. When we do present information to our advertisers, unless you tell us otherwise, it is in the form of aggregate statistics compiled among all our visitors' answers to survey questions as well as grouped on-site behavior.

As part of our ongoing effort to provide the best in content to you, the user, Laymance Development Systems™ has outlined the following information to address online privacy and consumer protection: We do NOT share e-mail addresses, obtained via communcation with visitors to www.laymance.com, with anyone. We make no effort to identify public users of www.laymance.com. No identifying data is disclosed to any third party for any purpose. Data that we collect is used only for server administration and Web protocol research. Our pledge is that LDS™ will not release personal data to anyone else without consent. If others want this information, including your name or your email address, only you can choose to give it to them. As is typical, we log http requests to our server. This means that we know the originating IP (e.g. 18.29.0.1) address of an agent requesting a URL, the visitor's domain name, referral data, and browser and platform type. We do not log the specific identity of visitors. We occasionally analyze the log files to determine which files are most requested. We use cookies to provide useful features on our website for our customers (for example, they enable us to personalise your visit to our website). Cookies themselves do not personally identify users (although they do identify a user's computer). Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can set yours to refuse cookies. However, you may not be able to take full advantage of the website's functionality if you do so. We therefore recommend that you leave the facility to receive cookies switched on. We also count, track and aggregate the visitors activity into our analysis of general traffic flows at www.laymance.com. To these ends, we may merge information about you into group data, which may then be shared on an aggregates basis with our advertisers; but LDS™ will not disclose your individual identity or personal data without your permission. When LDS™ does present aggregated information to outside companies, no one will be able to identify you or contact you. We also log requests to our search, CGI, and list maintenance services. This data is only used for administration and researching the efficiency of our tools. Logged information is not disclosed outside of LDS™ staff personnel. Aggregate (completely non-identifying) statistics generated from these logs may be reported as part of research results. |
