The Padlock system will allow you to generate unique registration codes for the PHP based products that you develop. Why do you need PHP Padlock? It comes down to money... here is how this system can earn you money:
Registration codes - by requiring users to have a registration code to use your software, your software is protected from use by people who do not purchase a license.
Expiring registration codes - allows you to produce demo codes. Demos will allow the user to experience your program, therefore leading to more purchases. Also, you can use sell time-limited codes (1 year, 2 years, etc.) - resulting in residual income.
Custom encryption seeds allows you to use this on all of your products, simply change the seeds used, therefore making the registration codes unique to the product.

Q: Is the system easy to use?
A: Absolutely! With our APIs, you can automate the creation of the registration codes on your web site (at the time of purchase of a product?)! You simply "include" our API library into your PHP project, and registration codes are returned with one function call!
Validating is just as simple. One function call to our library can validate the registration information that a customer has entered. The function will return an array with not only the validity status, but also the expiration date and whether domain locking is turned on, and what domain it is locked to.
We include our APIs in Zend encoded format - so as long as you protect your source code also, the system is nearly impossible to bypass.
